    Adopt-A-SEED-School

The Adopt-a-SEED-School Program provides a structured pathway for partnership between SEED beneficiary schools and our partners. This program is intended for organisations, individuals, NGOs, Foundations, etc interested in building relationships with our beneficiary schools for a minimum of one academic year. During this collaboration, partners and schools will work together to determine how to best connect partner resources and interests with the school’s unique needs. This relationship is a joint effort led by the school and partner, and supported by SEED.

Interested schools and partners are required to complete an application form which is then used for matching based on shared interests and goals. Once matched, schools and partners are expected to work together to complete the program requirements outlined below.

Engagement activities between the school and partner are tailored towards the school and partner’s needs, and go beyond a one-time, transactional experience.

    Highlights

I Want To Adopt A School

To apply as a partner for this program, you must be willing to designate 2 people from your organisation to serve as the Program Liaison to lead efforts throughout the year. Jointly develop and submit a partnership plan with your school(s) to include: at least 3 school-based activities and 1 donation. Finally, you must be willing to attend SEED meetings and complete mid and end of year reports.

Once you successfully apply, SEED will give you access to the school profiles of participating schools from their Adopt-a-School application. From your ranked preference for potential school matches, SEED will match your organisation with the number of schools you would like to work with. There are endless ways for partners to support students and schools. We strongly encourage partners start with their strengths and organisational philanthropic priorities, and then work collaboratively with the school to develop a shared vision grounded in serving students and the school.

All partnerships will be matched by middle August of each year. If you are interested in applying after the deadline, contact SEED directly to learn more about partnership opportunities.

Once you successfully apply, SEED will create a school profile from your answers in the Adopt-a-School application. Partners that apply to be a part of this program will be able to review your created profile and select which school(s) they can support. From the partners ranked preference for potential school matches, SEED will match organisations with a school.
